BidBeacon is built with a privacy-first design to keep your business and quoting data exactly where it belongs: on your device.
Data We Do Not Collect
BidBeacon does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data with the developer or any third parties. The app does not contain developer-operated analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or remote database backends. Your business transactions are private to you.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app stores quotes, client names, email addresses, phone numbers, job addresses, service classifications, pricing inputs, scope parameters, exclusions, terms, and follow-up schedules locally on your device. This information is processed strictly locally to run the app's quoting, calculator, and PDF generation engines.
Purchases & Billing
BidBeacon Pro subscriptions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. The app checks subscription entitlement status locally using StoreKit. Apple may process transaction and billing information in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. No credit card or billing details are ever sent to or stored by the developer.
Local Notifications
If you enable reminders, BidBeacon schedules local notifications on your device for quote follow-ups. These reminders are compiled and triggered entirely on your device and do not utilize any remote push notification servers.
PDF Export and Sharing
When you export a proposal PDF, the file is created locally on your device's filesystem. You choose where to share or upload it using Apple's system share sheet. BidBeacon does not receive, view, or store a copy of your exported proposals.
Children's Privacy
BidBeacon is designed for business owners and contractors and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time as app functionality expands. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated to reflect any changes.
